Pricing Built Around Your Fleet
FabConnect isn't sold off a shelf. Every engagement starts with a free equipment-integration readiness assessment, and your quote is sized to the equipment you actually have — not a generic subscription tier.
What Drives Your Price
Three classes of tool complexity
During the assessment, we classify each tool in your fleet into one of three complexity classes. Your quote is a blend across whatever mix your fleet actually has — from legacy serial tools to advanced GEM300/EDA clusters.
Legacy & Basic Connectivity
Older tools with simple, low-frequency connectivity — often serial, often 150mm/200mm era.
Priced after assessment
Request an Assessment- SECS-I (serial) or basic HSMS polling
- Equipment state & alarms
- A handful of status variables
- Minimal or no remote command / recipe download
- Serial-to-IP gateway handled for you
Standard GEM300
The modal case — production 300mm tools with full GEM and partial GEM300 capability.
Priced after assessment
Request an Assessment- HSMS over TCP/IP
- Full GEM: remote commands, recipe management
- Partial GEM300 (carrier ID and/or job management)
- Event-driven data, no continuous trace streaming
- Standard support SLA
Advanced GEM300 + EDA/FDC
Multi-chamber and automation-integrated tools with high-speed data collection.
Priced after assessment
Request an Assessment- Full GEM300 suite: process job, carrier, substrate & control job tracking
- EDA / Interface A for FDC and APC
- High-frequency trace data, multiple concurrent data collection plans
- AMHS/OHT and advanced litho support
- Priority support engineer
No published price list — quotes are assembled per fleet, not looked up from a table. Classification is based on what the assessment actually observes in your plant, not tool age or brand alone.
How to Self-Classify Your Fleet
A rough guide — the assessment confirms the details tool by tool.
| Capability | Legacy & Basic | Standard GEM300 | Advanced GEM300 + EDA |
|---|---|---|---|
| Typical protocol | SECS-I / basic HSMS | HSMS (E37) | HSMS, multi-entity |
| GEM (E30) | Basic | Full | Full |
| GEM300 coverage | — | Partial | Full suite |
| EDA / FDC (E120–134) | — | — | ✓ |
| Typical vintage | 150/200mm, 10–20+ yrs | 300mm production | Modern multi-chamber |
Frequently Asked Questions
- Why isn't pricing published?
- Because it depends on what you actually have: how many tools, how mature their SECS/GEM implementation already is, how many sites, and how deep a GEM300/EDA build-out you need. A single number on a webpage would either underquote most fabs or overquote everyone to cover the worst case. We price after we know your fleet, not before.
- What is the equipment-integration readiness assessment?
- A short engagement where we inventory your equipment fleet, classify each tool by its protocol maturity (legacy serial through advanced GEM300/EDA), and identify integration risks before any commercial commitment. You get a fleet inventory and connectivity plan either way.
- How long does the assessment take?
- Typically one to two weeks depending on fleet size and site access. We can scope it to a single line or pilot area first if you want to move faster.
- Do you support legacy equipment?
- Yes. Serial SECS-I tools are a standard part of most fleets we integrate, alongside modern HSMS-connected 300mm tools and EDA-enabled clusters.
- What does the quote actually look like?
- A one-time integration fee plus an annual platform fee, priced per tool according to its complexity class, rolled up into a single fleet-level number. Volume and multi-year commitments are reflected in the quote.
- What about data security?
- All data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and deployment options include on-premise and hybrid for fabs that require data to stay on-site. Security requirements are scoped as part of the assessment.
